Northspring Home

Northspring is located at Springwater Farm, owned by Allen and Janice Skinner. Allen and Janice originally purchased Springwater Farm in 1978 as a dairy farm; over time Springwater Farm has evolved to a beef cow/calf herd, laying chickens, finishing lambs and pigs seasonally

Now the addition of their daughter's horses has brought change again. With much renovation the main barn now houses 12 roomy box stalls, tack room, feed room, and work areas. Outdoors, paddocks, fields and trails have been added.

The Northspring store opened it's doors in April 2010.the store continues to expand it's merchandise lines, Janice's previous business experience as owner of The Hertiage House Tea Room and Gift Shoppe in Burks Falls, is a great benefit. The store now carries not only tack and riding apparel, but also many outdoor clothing and footwear lines, Dans au Jardin Bath and Beauty products, table and bed linensand the Muskoka soy candles.

Now open the Northspring Stable, offering horse boarding, training and riding lessons. Jeralyn is now welcoming clients, she coaches and trains classical North American style hunters and jumpers. Her daughter Anna also rides and competes with her ponies.
